I don't like our owner's too much hands-on approach these days... but he does own the team.

And a reminder, he bought the team in 1989...and won the Super Bowl 4 years later. That is "getting good quick".

Oh, then again the NEXT year, and then after another two years.

There are many owners of teams that haven't gone to recent Super Bowls...do we force them all to sell???

I had my tongue firmly planted in my cheek as I wrote that! However, yes Jones hired Jimmy Johnson, one of the best coaches in the history of football. He also fired him and refused to give him any respect for 30 years. Being the owner gives him the right to do whatever he wants with the team and hire, or fire, any coach he wants. He’s also the GM which makes him responsible for hiring the players he wants. If you’re happy with what he did 30 years ago, that’s fine by me. I hate the Cowboys so I love what he’s done since he fired Jimmy in 1994. He now owns the only NFC not to win a NFC championship since 1995. If he gets credit for a quick turnaround 35 years ago, he also gets credit for the loonnngggg drought since!

Washington last Super Bowl Championship was 1992.

The Chicago Bears only Super Bowl Championship was in 1986 when they defeated the Minnesota Vilkins.

Detroit and Minnesota, have never won a Super Bowl Championship.

The Dallas Cowboys have won six Super Bowl Championships and the last one was in 1996 against the Pittsburg Steelers.
