New Marriott Vacation Club Ownership levels announced

This is specifically related to our Vistana ownerships. We are Select level and based on the "What I Own" page on the Vistana website our Club Points total is 5140. There is also a page on the Vistana website "https://www.vistana.com/benefits" that shows my "Owner Benefit Level". I have attached a screenshot of the relevant information shown. I do not understand why it is showing the "Total Club Points Value" as 6895. We only own Westin Flex, and there is no question that our ownership converts to 5140 Club Points. We own no resale or purchased from MVC Club Points.

Does anyone have any idea why our points value would show up higher on this webpage?

I hadn’t ever seen that page before. I went to look at it for my account, and it similarly shows a higher Club Points value than I believe I actually own. CORRECTION: the club points value shown is correct.

How much more, I can’t say for sure, because I have one ownership (81,000 Westin Flex, EOY) that doesn’t show a Club Points value when I go look at “what I own” in the dashboard, which seems odd. (Like all of my ownerships, it was purchased from the developer.)

But presumably Westin Flex converts to Club Points at some ratio (I’m guessing 1 Club Point = about 27 Westin Flex options?) and would then be halved (for an EOY ownership) when figuring your OBL. So the Club Points total that’s displaying for me on the page you linked is at least 2,000 points too high. CORRECTION: it’s not too high, it is correct.

@iowaguy09 when you click on the "Elect for Club Points" link on that same screen, then click continue on the next screen, what does it show as the points value for each of your VOIs?

Thanks for that. And weirdly, when I went back to my dashboard and looked at “What I own” again, now it displays a Club Points value for my Westin Flex (2810 club points.) Very odd, as it definitely didn’t say that an hour ago.

Anyway, when I add everything up, it turns out that the value displayed on that Owner Benefits page is actually correct. Earlier when I said it wasn’t correct I had forgotten to add in the value of the trust points I own.

So I don’t know what to say to the person whose total on that page seems to be too high. Mine is correct.

When I click on the “Elect for Club Points” link on that same screen it reports the Max Club Points Value as 5140, which is what is expected for what we own. As I progress further in the process it also shows the correct Club Points values for each individual VOI.

I had found that page a while back after this thread had started, then I couldn’t remember how I got there, but I knew I had seen somewhere on the Vistana website an incorrect high value for our Club Points. I only found that page again today when I was searching through the Vistana Site Map. If there is a link to it from the Vistana Dashboard, I haven’t found it.

Apologies to the MVC-only owners that this part of the discussion thread is so Vistana specific, but we are all one big happy family now, right? Haha! Definitely germaine to the topic as it relates to Vistana to Club Points conversions and our Abound membership levels.

Timetable for start use of the new levels - Has anyone been given instructions about how and when to use the new levels? Do the start dates vary for the different benefits? How would the transition work for making reservations to when the reservations could start?

The benefits are being phased in between Summer 2026 and first quarter 2027. No specific dates have been provided. You can see which benefits are being rolled out and when in this post. Though only with vague timelines.
