Hi All,

Hilton recently exercised ROFR on the HGVC Sea World property. I'm looking for 14K platinum points. I don't really care about the destination per say since my goal is to travel everywhere. Please contact me if you'd like to discuss, or forward my thread to someone looking to sell.

Thanks!

Contact Seth Nock or one of the other agents at sellingtimeshares.net. Seth has a good handle on ROFR on Hilton properties.

I am not related in any way to Seth or his company, but I did purchase Disney points through him and was very happy with the process.

What price did Hgvc exercise ROFR?

Concentrate on the Flamingo property. There is no Rofr. Give lowball offers until someone wants to deal with you. You could wait till the end of the when maintenance fees are coming due.

Can you please add this to the rofr.net db? You will need to make 2 entries for each week for 1/2 contract price each.

I know when I was looking for the same amount of points last year, I focused on KL 2 bedroom premier platinum season. This seemed to be the lowest cost with lowest MFs available at the time. I don't see any currently listed but I would expect many new listings will surface towards the end of the year (starting in October). This will also be a good time to buy since they will not want to pay the following years MFs and also Hilton isn't as aggressive on rofr. (imo).

Here's what Ocean82 stated in their previous SeaWorld Financials thread
Hello Everyone,
I just signed paperwork and made a deposit for two 7K point platinum weeks at Sea World for $12,500 on one deed with all seller paid closing costs including activation fees. The maintenance fees are about $2,300/year starting in 2018. What do you think?

Do I still have to do two entries when the $14K points was on one deed?

When you make an entry into the rofr db (www.rofr.net), you will see the following form

This is really designed for purchase of one week/unit per contract. Your contract/deed was for two weeks. If you complete the entry with the full price, that would skew the data. So, I am just suggesting that you make an entry (or two) for 1/2 the price. I hope that makes sense. Thanks

I second this advice, I looked for the same thing all year in 2015 and finally found one at a price I wanted to pay. I signed the sales contract in Oct and it closed in Dec.

One thing to note, HGVC required payment of the next year maint fees and club fees to close, even though I already had an account with two other contracts. I was also billed through the other contract so I ended up with a $155 credit all year in 2016, it was resolved when the 2017 bill came in.
