I noticed without sports, I have watched more of things like Gilligan's Island.

I thought I'd post a question asking who is "more attractive", or "who do YOU prefer"

This is simply from a LOOKS perspective---disregard all of the rest of character on the show, etc.

Ginger, or Mary Anne ?

I will give my preference later, but want to let you know I 'switched' about two years ago---and I am in my 60s.

Pat

Growing up Ginger. I thought she was so beautiful and elegant. Now MaryAnne, simple beauty I can appreciate now.

There is nothing that touches our imagination so much as a beautiful woman in plain dress. I would say, Mary Anne.

Mary Anne.

And similarly, Bailey over Jennifer on WKRP.

Mary Anne no contest

Speaking of dresses, why did those people pack so many clothes for a three hour tour??? :ROFLMAO:

You expect that show to make sense. :p

When asked why she often is chosen over Ginger, Dawn Wells had this to say:

“I’ve always said — and I don’t mean this to be offensive — is that Ginger is a one-night stand while Mary Ann is for a lifetime. Mary Ann is the one you would marry or be your best friend or go to the prom with you, while Ginger would be exciting but you’d have to take her to expensive places and buy her a martini…Mary Ann’s for the long haul.”

Light hearted answer. The Professor.

Heck yeah! I can't remember how many times that hero fixed the broken radio or otherwise gave the group a real chance at getting outa there. Something about that curly hair atop that sexy brain. And he never ever lost his cool.

Thelma or Louise????

Han or Luke?

OK----topic is veering off-course---haha!

As the OP, it wasn't even close from my teens, through my 50s.

It was Mary Anne---much cuter!!

(again, no personalities from the character, etc.-----I also thought Mary Anne had that feather in her cap.)

About two years ago, I watched a couple of shows, and switched to Ginger---more ATTRACTIVE.

I think it's pretty close, though my 'old' way of thinking is getting most of the votes................
