Let's Play Connections

It was the first to sort of pop out to me....
Psalms, prayers, I was trying to put my finger on one, and did not. But the 'theme' was there for me.
Too many funerals lately for us, perhaps?

How could David say, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life” (Psalm 23:6)?

I think the key word is "theme." I was trying to make each of those words part of a multi-word phrase with a theme, but couldn't do it. When it defaulted out, I could see the relationship, but it still didn't fit with my multi-word phrase theme. I was overthinking it, obviously. And I kept trying to include "Lord" with the other "12 days of Christmas" items. It's frustrating when there are five words that fit such a specific connection. Which one do you remove? I was able to solve it, but not without a bit of WTH? moments. :D

Perfect but blue by default.

A Perfect today but the last by default.

A couple misses but I crossed the finish line.

Well that was lucky. Just went for it because I couldn't see the connections.

For purple, grouped them thinking they were images in a video game or something (like Frogger). Totally off base but it worked. Needed to weed out a metal and very randomly and luckily Mercury was my 2nd one to leave out.

A perfect but I had no clue on the blue.

Pretty fast, but blue by default.

I can’t believe I missed the purple connection. Arriving there by default, no problem. But then not seeing how the words relate to each other, OMG a six year old would get it!

A perfect early this morning.

I got them all, and for once, actually knew them all. :D

Ditto!

Perfect, but a comment in the spoiler.

I got them all and knew that the purple was "... moon" but had no idea what a "sailor moon" was. Had anyone heard of it? (It apparently is an animated Japanese TV series.) It is wierd stuff like this that often leads to me going bombs away.

I feel like one of the cool kids today. :D

Another easy one. (Which is probably why I got it. :D )

Yep, a fast perfect today.

Not as perfect as I look. I had a couple misses and lost what I had. I was perfect from then on out :)
