It was the first to sort of pop out to me....
Psalms, prayers, I was trying to put my finger on one, and did not. But the 'theme' was there for me.
Too many funerals lately for us, perhaps?
How could David say, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life” (Psalm 23:6)?
I think the key word is "theme." I was trying to make each of those words part of a multi-word phrase with a theme, but couldn't do it. When it defaulted out, I could see the relationship, but it still didn't fit with my multi-word phrase theme. I was overthinking it, obviously. And I kept trying to include "Lord" with the other "12 days of Christmas" items. It's frustrating when there are five words that fit such a specific connection. Which one do you remove? I was able to solve it, but not without a bit of WTH? moments.
