With the current DOWNS, and UPS of the Stock Market------it's hard to guess what will happen any particular day.

I find it interesting the way they explain recent LOSSES (Coronavirus), and yet as it gets MORE of a concern, they
explain GAINS because of Democratic Primary results, or any other reason.

I admit, I don't know much about best ways to invest in the market. I have money in it, and have for years---but I am in the learning stage to make my OWN decisions.

But, I digress.................

Let's play a game as ONE DAY ENDS, and thinking about TOMORROW.

What will the Stock Market do TOMORROW??

My 'guess' (this evening) is that it will be DOWN fairly significantly tomorrow (Thursday). Oh, by the way----no 'Dow Futures' peeking allowed---haha.

We can play this every day until things settle down---whenever that will be.................

Let's not and say we did.
Trying to guess market gyrations would make my head explode.
I'll just go along for the ride, like it's Space Mountain and when it's over...
I'll stumble out, a little green in the face.

And, its gone.

My guess is down again on Thursday..

I don't even log into my account, especially when the market is down.
I've noticed, in the past, when the market is volatile, that Fidelity dumbs down their client web UI. This time, they set up a new page that attempts to keep you from reaching your dashboard and most of the graphs continue to fail (refuse to load). Kinda funny, kinda sad, kinda .... well ... idk.

It’s all being news driven right now and will probably stay that way until the election is over. Fundamentals have disappeared and twitter has taken over. Anytime there is a large gain there is usually a pullback and just the opposite following a large drop! I didn’t bail but I am very happy I rebalanced our portfolio prior to all this nonsense.

I will go forward saying that my guess is it will retrace 50% of the direction from the day before. YMMV

I predict that exchanges will be open every non-Fed holiday this year, that there will be no crisis that closes it.

Stock market runs on speculation and always has. So it will go up with people thinking Yippee and trail down when people think OH CRAP.

I am a long haul investor, no clue nor care what happens in the market today or tomorrow. I do care that my companies keep on making money, but watching the market is the wrong place to get that info.

Woo! Woo! Pick Me! It'll be DOWN tomorrow! What's the prize?

If you guess up, I will guess down.

There is a 100% chance that one of us is correct! Wow, TUGgers are smart! 100% odds are pretty darn good in the stock market.

My guess is down for a while. Jamie Dimon had a dream that a bunch of bankers caught the Corona Virus. Today he had a heart attack. Probably after looking at the 10 year yield curve.

Holy Crap! How's that for Karma?

How about Dow down almost 1000 at the open Friday.....we are seeing some recovery mid morning, but this volitality is ridiculous! It's not you or I moving this market....it's quant or bot trading algorithms!

OK, nothing to worry about.
The robots and quants will suck up all the stock market losses and next week they will take all the gains

Looks like a Black Monday caused by an oil dispute between the Saudi's and Russia may cause oil to open down and continue down. Good for us people driving gas hogs but probably bad for the markets.

The volatility (hysteria) notwithstanding...
This may be a good time to sell some bonds (doing well), and use proceeds to nibble.
This may not be the bottom, but I don't think there's a lot of peep left to freak out.

DOW Futures are down 1200. Wow.

I think the saying is " stocks climb the stairs going up and take the elevator on the way down".
