If you could open up just one business or place and go there, what would it be?

Are schools considered a single entity? Both so the kids can get back to learning face to face and because husbands income is dependent on the schools (does fundraising).

Really tough choice. I can understand the call for church knowing how personally important that is to people. Still given that "churches" were not originally buildings, but people getting together however they could, I would choose differently. For now, l will go with my church's YouTube services with a coffee hour and a discussion of the sermon by Zoom.

From a personal point of view, I would choose hair salons, but from an unselfish point of view I think having schools reopen would be the most important thing.

I feel when business are reopen, Many consumers will not have the extra dollars to spend in restaurants and retail stores. IMO.

Eviction Court.

They shut down the State Superior Courts here and I have several non-paying tenants who where NOT effected or laid off due to this when I filed 4 weeks ago. This includes the storefront rented by a beauty supply storefront habitually LATE paying tenant.

For some reason there are people who are still employed / working everyday; , feel liked they do not have to paid rent or any bills because of the COVID - 19- Virus ?
They have always paid their rent on time.

This is terrible. I am so sorry that your tenants are using Covid as an excuse to not pay rent. A friend of mine told me to stop paying rent and I said no, I need to pay. He said the local government has said you do not need to pay rent. This is how many people look at it. In one of my professional groups, someone did a survey of how many people are still paying rent. To me, that was useless. Just because someone else is not paying does not mean you shouldn’t. It seems people are copying others and using it to justify bad behavior.

Schools.
I would pick schools over all other businesses combined.
This is really bad for kids, parents, teachers, etc.
Schools in my state are closed the rest of the school year, as are many states. I worry for the ramifications
Adults can handle being cooped up at home with limited human contact. Kids- not so much.

My grandson is heartbroken. He loved his teacher and his classmates. He loves learning. His school was supposed to go to end of June.

And most of the summer activities, what will happen. Will there be summer school, swim classes, soccer camp, Etc

We run a camp for our football players in the beginning of August (middle school football in my state can't start practicing until August 24th, but can do camps). We are planning to run the camp, but I think it's in peril. I hope we will be able to run the camp as it's blast to be part of and it really gets the kids hyped for the season. They love the "flag" football tournament and the skills combine on the last day.

I worry that we might not even have a season this fall.

Most of my kids’ activities have emailed saying the are delaying decision until April 30, and then emails this week with a further decision delay until May 15. No refunds offered yet, and of course everyone is hopeful that they can occur.
