If you could open up just one business or place and go there, what would it be?

I saw this on another board. If you could open up just one place that you love, and have it be normal, like it was before, and also completely safe to go to that one place, where would it be? It can be a restaurant, a park, a store, a hairdresser's, a theater, anything you enjoy. What would you choose?

My church....In addition to the services, I'm involved in several groups there that have created friendships for me. I really miss seeing all those people and sharing what's going on in their lives. I miss the sense of service I get from some of our activities as well and the intellectual challenge of learning from our Bible study sessions.

My local pub. I'd like to go shoot pool and sip cold draft brew. I would be interested in what's new or on special, as their food is good. Service sucks, but, it's because they are always understaffed and thirsty customers. The food is worth it, staff is great, and I don't mind playing trivia every so often with the crowd. No live sports for the tvs, but, rolling a classic I don't remember makes it new to me!

That would be mine too. Our church family is a very close group. There's a sign over the door "A Place To Belong". When we go south for the Winter I miss them very much. While church's have been closed the Elders and ministry team have done a good job with Zoom and online services. Our plan is to go back to MI later this month. I manage a garden we've had for almost a decade. It will be time to put some raised beds together that I bought last fall and have stored in my garage. I hope restrictions start lifting so we can get together in the sunshine and enjoy the fellowship.

My husband is a HS teacher, so I guess he would say his school. Or he might say this bakery near us that he loves--amazing baguettes, and he goes there at least a couple of times a week. (They were open till a couple of weeks ago for curbside pick-up.)

I don't know what I would say. Still mulling that over. I might say a big theater near us, where we have a subscription....

I would want the MS MT Washington to start the season so I can go out on the lake.

But really what I would love is for my son's employers to open up their businesses first.
