Hello!
We are trying to decide which credit card to use for our MVC maintenance fees. We have a Marriott Bonvoy Premier Chase Visa signature card. We are lifetime titanium. What kind of points will we earn on this card? Thanks so much! I looked up the same question and could only find answers for other types of Marriott cards.

I would pay the $10 more annual fee ($85 for Bonvoy Premiere vs $95 for Bonvoy Boundless) and you get an annual free night certificate worth 35k. You can add up to 15k bonvoy points to cert to redeem up to a 50k night. Only if you have such use for a night worth $10 (i always use these free marriott and hilton nights from credit cards). Plus you will get 6X points for marriott spend instead of 5X. You can call Chase and product change to boundless card.

My wife keeps getting junk mail asking her to "Upgrade" to the Bountiful card. They try to entice with an offer of 15,000 bonus Bonvoy points. So far I see nothing about it that I would consider an upgrade...

We just got the boundless card in Dec. which had a special of 3 free night bonus plus the free night award. Last week we got “our best offer” of 5 free nights (up to 250,000 total points). I could have waited but we used the credit card to pay 2024 MF & a trip, so we have earned the extra nights😃.

Wasn't aware we could use Bonvoy points to pay MF. Did you pay through MVC app?

OK. I misunderstood your post. I always pay MF with one of my Bonvoy cards ( have both Chase and Amex). I thought you were converting accumulated points to MF.

I’m with you. I do not understand the benefit of that card AT ALL. A $250 annual fee and it doesn’t even include a FNA unless you spend like $20K/yr on it. The only way that card makes sense is for someone that has loads and loads of short stays a year since it includes 1000 Bonvoy bonus points for each stay. Otherwise it’s a junk card.

That legacy card is only 5pt/$. If you switch to the boundless the annual fee is only $10 more and you get 6pt/$. The one perk of that legacy card is you earn 1 ENC per $3k spend. The boundless is 1 ENC per $5k spend. (Do note that once you switch you can never go back because that card hasn’t been offered for several years.)
