ok, i am familiar with that view. i thought you were saying there is a view that shows 'all resorts' availability at 60 days out. to get a 'general' idea of availability i would have to go resort by resort, right?

maybe i am still missing something?

since no one joined the zoom, i didn't get requests for specific examples that folks were interested in.

most examples will show no availability, in my experience.

i'm thinking about doing a zoom to let folks see real-time availability in MAX.

i'm an HGVC legacy deeded owner, that upgraded retail into MAX. i've been disappointed in availability at MAX properties, but would be happy to share my screen and answer questions, or do searches.

i'm thinking to do this on a saturday or sunday in the afternoon, EST.

Do you still feel like the retail upgrade isnt worth it? I was thinking of getting into HGVC and was interested in MAX, but very cautious of the salesman trying to push Retail and MAX.

The last second discount vacations. the $300 dollar thing for a week and also heavy discount on hotels rooms vs retail price. They showed a 2BR for something like 200 a nigh versus the 700ish a night at a hawaii resort.

I'm not certain any if those are exclusive to MAX. i don't think discounted hotels is even a thing, unless it's open season you are referring to. that is available with a resale DEED, as i understand it.

i recommend a resale DEED if you are just getting started in HGVC. you can get MAX anytime in the future, with a retail upgrade.

You could just purchase resale and book open season. Here is the open season (OS) rates for Oahu TS. Personally, I wouldn't recommend purchasing HGVC for what I call these "side benefits". In my 15 years of ownership, I have only used open season twice. I don't see using open season for HI because IF there was availability then last minute Flights will probably cost $$$$.
