Trying to see if this is a good deal. Currently it should cost about $4k for this contract. I intend to just buy somewhere with low MF’s since I will most likely book elsewhere at 9 month window. Does this seem like good value?

That sounds like a good price for 11,200 points. There MF’s might be a bit higher that Blvd and maybe Flamingo, but still at the lower end of HGVC MF’s.

Thank you! I know the Elara has lower as the same amount of points would be classified as a 1 bedroom but it’s a lot more money up front.

Good deal. MF only about $65 more than BLVD so low. Aside from unicorns, these plats run between 5 - $7.5k before transfer.

I would say a good deal to a little better than good deal. There is my assessment:
  • Buy-in price better than good at $4K
  • 2024 MF at $1130.43 = 0.10 $/pt is good
  • platinum season = good
I would put this at a very good first purchase with enough pts to do something with and good MFs. I know that there are some others that are better (finding them will be the issue and how long it will take to find those unicorns will be the issue). Congratulations on figuring out HGVC and I hope that this purchase works out for you and your family. I will precited that you will be purchasing more in the future.
