Have You Won Anything on MVC 40th Anniversary Scratcher?

Only 3-4 winners seems pretty paltry - and even worse if they were clustered together, so it doesn't sound like a story of encouragement to me.
Most contests like this do not have lots of winners.

According to the odds, if you had the opportunity to play 110 times, you’d probably win something once.

That's my point. 3-4 winners at one resort, seems lower than 1:110, therefore it does not seem to me to be a likely an embellishment.

Just back from Oceana Palms. No prize for me on the scratch off.
But my 18th Floor Sunset Bldg. northern exposure room was a great consolation.

My first and only experience was at Pulse San Francisco. Not a winner.
After complaining I was given a deck of playing cards featuring photos of MVC locations.
I took the time to read this entire post -- hoping a Tugger was a winner.

Do we not get beach bags anymore? Our last stay was a Westin Princeville and no beach bag. I have a small collection of them, so no big deal, but the grocery bag was okay.
I feel the last time we received a beach bag or a freeze tote bag was at
Surf Watch or Ocean Watch about 3 or 4 years ago. LOL

Not a winner at Harbour Lake. 0-2. Was not offered one at Westin Riverfront.

First time getting these scratchers at Lakeshore. Only got sorry you are not winner.

Dis not get any at MKO, Paris and Cypress Harbour. Did not see concierge at MKO and Cypress but did at Paris.

Added to my oh-fer this past week at Crystal Shores.

0 - 3 Not a winner at Marriott MountainSide in Park City. Received 1,000 Bonvoy Points as consolation.

Update: just noticed the back of my card includes the odds and prizes.

This looks like it is a new and different contest from the previous one. This one started on January 8, 2025.

0 for 1 so far on the new Set Sail scratcher.

You sure scratch a lot. ;-)
We went to six different resorts stays in Hilton Head and they didn't give us a single card.

You need to update your “sleep number”.

I do, I was actually thinking about that thread the other day mid-HHI swing.

When I checked in here in Orlando on Jan 3rd, I was handed one by a vacation concierge and their coworker immediately took it back from the counter, telling me that it had just ended January 1. Now with the new promotion mentioned here, it make sense.

I scratched two during the promotional period...both duds ;)

According to the screenshot above the new Set Sale contest started on the 8th. It is likely the old 40th anniversary ended at the end of the year. The HHI properties may not have had the new cards when we were there though we were never sent to talk to a “concierge”.

I check into MGO Friday so we'll see if they got them in since your visit last week.

I scratched countless cruise scratcher cards and not a single winner.

It seems they've just changed over to a new set of scratchers that are promoting their "hello, HOTELS". Scratched my first one today. I didn't win. I had the old cards down as I could just scratch the top left and if I saw the word "Sorry" I knew it was a bust. The new card has it where the first sentence is "No prize this time".

Have anyone won anything from the scratch games? The odd much 1 out 125 million chances to win. LOL

I scratched one last week at Surf Club and unsurprisingly not a winner.

I think the purpose of the scratch cards are to give people an incentive to visit the concierge, who will then try to sign them up for a sales presentation. I think the odds of winning are extremely low.

The odds were disclosed earlier in the thread at 1:110. I'm not sure what the new game odds are as I didn't read the fine print on the back. You are right though, it is 100% a way to get you to the concierge desk. They can't offer you to attend an update if you don't go there (or they don't call). I suspect in person pitch is more effective. Especially now that they can tell you all about hello, HOTELS!
