Did You Change Your Name?

Not me. I kept teachingmyown, though I considered shortening it to tmo, which is what I use on tstips, but my fingers have gotten so used to the longer version that I figured why fix what's not broken... besides, it matches my yahoo address.

Tug Name

Since we mostly know each other by login name on the old TUG BBS I decided to keep mine as is. Thought about shortening it to PCgirl ,the PC is for my beloved Providence College.

Tug Name

I was able to go with my old BBS name Indea88. This was the name I had chosen (Indea) when I was convinced I was having a girl. His name is Derek what a wonderful surprise :)

Had another grandbaby so just changed mine from Gramma4 to Gramma5...not a big deal except to my new little "Lily Grace". Now she's included too!...........

yes---Jar465 to Jan. The Jar465 stood for Jan and Rod 1965 (the year we were married. We're still married but its easier to go by Jan.

So when we registered this time, I picked another name. I did check however to see if anyone else had that name by searching the older boards for a post. I also have NJDave on TStips so I wanted the name to be the same.

I want to thank everyone for their support over the years. TUG has also been a group of nice people who are also very generous. TUGGERS are generally very understanding and have patience. I always felt like there were no stupid questions. My original name (TUGshare02) tells you alot about what I thought TUG was about. It was about sharing.

It's been 19 years since the new software was rolled out. It would be interesting hear from some of the old timers, who don't post much any more, that were around 19 years ago. I notice less and less of members with the June 6, 2005 "date joined". If you see this post and don't post much anymore, it would be great to post here and reminence about the old days. There were many more tips and opportunities back then. Timeshare changed over the years stopping some loop poles partly because of us. For example, there are no more South Africa space banks. Remember the common phase "loose lips shink ships"?
