Anyone playing wordle?

Three ...

Four, because I had way too many options after my first word was pretty productive.
My first word was because I had to CHASE a cat this morning. I won’t bore you with the story. I got the AC&H all out of position. However , with the CH combination, I thought it likely they ended the word. Also, I couldn’t think of any words ending in CH and starting with A, so I figured it had to be second which left me thinking xAxCH. So many options, WATCH, PATCH, HATCH, LATCH, CATCH, BATCH, MATCH and those are just using T in third position. I thought PLUMB was a good elimination word and it worked to a great degree, finding the M. So, I was stuck on the T and tried MATCH. I thought MARCH was over.

I came as close to a one as you can get with a very fortuitous opening word. Two.
DW and I are sitting in the sunroom watching a wood STORK walk along the lake bank. The only square that didn’t turn green was the R. I changed it to a C and STOCK got my week off to a great start. :hug

After guess 2 is was down to STOOP, STOOL, STOCK. IF i used STOOL or STOOP in guess 3, either the guess would be correct or it would eliminate one of the remaining words as well. I decided to use STOOP.
