Anyone playing wordle?

Five today. I thought I had it with guess 4. I was wrong.

The gods are getting even for my two guess solution a few days ago.

Five today. Like @T_R_Oglodyte thought I had it in four. Seems like lately when I put a more common word in that fits it turns out to be wrong in favor of a lesser used word.

Three

After guess 1, the possible solutions I came up with were YEARN, SEDAN, OCEAN, BEGAN, PECAN, VEGAN. From that list, I thought CRAGS would be a good elimination word. After CRAGS, SEDAN was the only option on my list.

After my second word, the correct word almost had to end in "DAN". That made it easy.

I think my third guess was correct but I was overruled. Officially, a four. :confused:
Several baby DUCKS, and their parents, showed up on the lake this morning. ( I just love seeing all the different water fowl here.) They brought me a D and an S. Out of character ;), I tried being SNIDE. It worked. I got the starting S and added an E and N to go along with the D. Aha! The wordle is SPEND. AH, C’mon! Ok, SEDAN works, too.
