Anyone playing wordle?

I’m impressed with the three’s! It took me five. And a while.

I went back to one of my old favorite vowel search words this morning, AUDIO. It only sounded out an off key A. Searching for consonants next, I tried PARTY. It added a P and T to the mix. I thought I had it with STAMP, but it was not to be. Now, I have the A in third position plus a P and T out of position but narrowed down to a couple of options. I stared at my screen and tried to make words, to no avail. I thought maybe an E would fit but I couldn’t think of a word. I finally entered EPACT not knowing if it would be accepted. It was and placed the T in the end position, left only position 4 for the P and 2 for the E. So, xEAPT. Finally, I LEAPT, but for relief, not for joy!

After guess 2, no other word was possible that I could see. But maybe @Faith could come up with one of her words. Which would just show that all things may be possible if a person has Faith, and that I might be a person of little Faith.

I didn't go through the list too much - at all - when I saw HUMAN would work, I went for it. But was surpised after first 2 words to end with a 3.

It’s a RAINY morning in Northeast Florida. Someone turned on the water SPOUT. After 2 tries, I have A, U and N all out of position. As I start analyzing my options, I lean toward the word ending with AN. That would most likely mean the U in position 2, so I start looking at xUxAN. HUMAN is the first word I see and ta-da!

Unlike some deities, the Wordle gods are not omnipotent. They can be had.

After guess 2, there was only one option. Nothing worked with K in position 2, so K was in position 1. And if K is in position 1, with the other information, KOALA is the only option. No way for the Wordle gods to filch on this one.

I don’t know why I started with TRASH but it seemed to have good letters and it worked finding the middle A. I decided to check for any remaining vowels next with LOUIE. That found the O in second position and an L that had to be letter 4 or 5. I couldn’t think of any words with L in fifth position, so I focused on xOALx. As soon as I saw the K on my keyboard, I knew it was KOALA.
