Hello,
We were wondering about renting out some of our Vidanta weeks, we have more than we need and was wondering what everyone uses and how successful? So far, I have seen redweek.com, whicj seems legit but its not free.
Thanks

As a renter, I can say I obsessively check TUG, redweek, and ebay. I have not found anything yet on Koala but have looked. I am in a few FB groups that allow rental ads but I find that there are a lot of overpriced rentals there. Redweek has the most ads/easiest to search listings IMO so it’s a great place to figure out a price point that will actually end up in a rental.

I have had good success renting my weeks on both Redweek and Koala. As @california8399 mentioned...Redweek rental listings provide a good idea of what is renting to be able to price effectively. Successful rentals are greyed out which gives a good marketvalue price point although there still could have been some negotiation prior to the contract that might not be reflected in the price shown. One of Koala's benefits is no cost to list a rental...although I feel Redweek's marketshare and name recognition at least for now is superior to Koala's among users.

Anyone had success using rental programs? I have a couple ski weeks at sweetwater lift lodge and Iron Blosam. Better to list on redweek/TUG vs justing signing over to the rental program?

It's not free (it's also not at all expensive) but it is possible to make it cost less if you are listing the same resort multiple times. And RedWeek.com is totally legit although their 'full service' listings don't get good reviews.

I have used the VRI rental program. It rented quickly, it was high season in Fort Lauderdale. The payout was not worth it. The resort keeps 25% of rental, deducts cost of cleaning, credit card fees and any other fees they had to rent unit. Then at year end they send you a form to report on your income tax.
