WKORV-N progress...looking good!

Did you just email them your request for the week and you got it? How long did it take?

I sent the request via the web site on Jan 1st at 6pm (Pacific), and received an email confirmation today (3rd) shortly after 11am.

Also, I tried calling today three separate times to add my request and their phones were ringing with a fast busy signal...

What time of day were you calling, and did you finally get through to someone and ask about the phone problem? Were the phones simply busy with all the Week 1 reservations, I wonder?
 
I called a few times thru out the day - >15 mins wait at least up until 4PM (PST)
