After 40+ years of T/S ownership, I am no longer "an owner"
I am still "hoping" to be able to make my late June/early July trip to Colorado. The business part of the trip is still up in the air as to whether or not the event will be cancelled (7/2-7/7) . . . which will ultimately impact what I do for the vacation part of the trip (6/28-7/2).

Hey Dave, If the retirement trip doesn't work, does that mean you're going back to work? Here's hoping that by late Summer the 'All Clear' has been sounded!

Jim

Back to work is not an option. Like it or don't, stick a fork in it - I'm done. :D

I'm not foolish enough to expect this to be suddenly over. I know it will take time, and then even more time for things to get moving again. I just want things to get back on the rails. I spent a lifetime looking forward to being retired, so I could do anything I wanted. And now that it's here, I can't. Aacckkk!

I think June will be too soon, especially if you're flying or traveling internationally, plus there might be another virus wave later in Fall. Hoping by maybe July/August we can take a road trip somewhere local.

I have paid for a conference and flights to Las Vegas the last week of June. I am still hopeful it will still be on. We also have a week booked at the end of July in my home resort in Myrtle Beach.

Plans for Old Town Alexandria July 5-9 with friends whose High School age son is planning attending a training event. If the training event is cancelled we will probably cancel the trip. Planning on Newport RI end of December, hopefully by that time all is well

Disney vacation club ssr Memorial Day week via RCI. Likely a no go. Will rebook AA tickets for January travel. Also have a dvc points stay for early August. I’m thinking that one is likely.
Going to beach house 4th of July with family. We can self isolate if still needed.. I cancelled sept med cruise and 10 days in Italy with 4 sets of friends. used FF miles for 4 of us. hoping AA will loosen redeposit fees.

Going to reschedule our May trip to Galveston to Oct and adopt a wait and see.

Looks like I'm going to convert the majority of this years HICV points to IHG points to safeguard them. I have until October to make that decision.

We have the 4th of July week at our home resort set up as of now. But since the whole city of Myrtle Beach has been shut down we will have to wait and see how it plays out.

I still have my 2 weeks in Molokai scheduled for the first two weeks of May. If restrictions aren’t lifted. I will reschedule for as soon as it looks like the restrictions will be lifted.

Is Molokai considered your "home" at this point, or is Honolulu? If you were able to fly to another island would you have to self quarantine there?

Technically, Honolulu is our home. We are on the stay at home order but I still have to work being in food distribution.

If the restrictions are still in place we will stay in Honolulu. As soon as they are lifted we will go for two weeks. I don’t think we would have to quarantine but the stay at home is basically the same so we would just stay in Honolulu.

No hint if the restrictions will be extended so it will be wait and see. Mokulele will let us reschedule for free and I own the condo so it is easy for me to make any changes.

I have only been here 8 months and my wife 7 months so we don’t have any plans to go back to the mainland anytime soon.

Formerly: Marriott, ILX, Westin, Diamond, Worldmark. Timeshare free as of 12/24.
We actually still have mid-May on the books for Palm Springs, but I don't expect to take that trip. Early June, a week in Pismo I suspect won't happen. Last few days in June is our annual trek up the mountain to Big Bear for my (half) birthday -- maybe yes, maybe no on that one. Looks like we will be getting to our Oct 1st Worldmark anniversary date with almost all of our 2020 points; usually by this time of year all of next year's 44,000 points are gone.

We don't usually plan any trips in the summer because we like to be in Santa Fe during that time. Our next planned trip, since we cancelled May in Seattle, will be Newport, RI and NYC at the beginning of October. Depending on how back to "normal" things are by then we may, or may not, go.

We have a trip planned from July 4 to Honolulu & Kauai. Honolulu to visit my elderly mother & brother for a few days. But they won't want us to visit if the COVID-19 has another wave... Cancelling Kauai will be easy, it's the non-refundable, non-changeable Alaska airfare that would be hard to eat.

I was miraculously able to use the last of my ePlus trades to move a week in Kona from early April to late July for daughter & SIL. Hope they still can go then.

I won a two night saty at our Pollard Brook timeshare which is only an hour away from our home. Scheduled for 6/19. Our home resort/weeks in Vermont and NH are for week 30 and 31.

We have an exchange booked in North Conway, checking in 6/19. We would be driving, not flying. It remains to be seen if we’ll be able to go.

Two weeks in Peru early June. I anticipate having to cancel or try to rebook everything. Really bummed because I spent a lot of time planning this trip. Late July we have a week reserved in Lake Tahoe, followed by a week in Vancouver.

I have a trip to Oahu booked for late June. I really need to get away, so I hope I can still go. I also have two weeks on the Big Island in early November. I normally take a fall vacation in early September; but this year I had to postpone it to November due to a job deadline change.

We have two weeks the end of June booked for LAS to Den piggyback'ing my daughters Chorus trip to the Sing a Mile High festival. Plan is to go to some of the Utah National Parks Zion, Bryce, etc. and then wind up in Denver for the festival. I am doubtful that it will happen. We have a backup vacation plan for two weeks in South Carolina split between Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Hilton Head. I am also doubtful that will happen. Currently just in wait and see mode.

We have a family trip planned to Hilton Head Island early/mid-June timeframe and then July 4th week to Breckenridge, Colorada. I am currently waiting to see what happens for now because both are easy to cancel.

I have a missions trip to Puerto Rico in mid-May. To me that is up to the airline or PR if we should go. My mom's memorial service is mid-June. She died in January and that time was the best for my siblings to be free to meet up, since we live all around the country. I sure hope it is on. A few friends and relatives have also made plans to join us in our hometown. American changed my flight time once, so I'm guessing they dropped a flight for that day.
