What do you do?

Just gotta say, I love this thread! It is awesome to discover things about fellow Tuggers both kidders and realists. Before assisting the MIL's Assisted Living facility (above) I volunteered at a cat rescue and did income tax returns for United Way clients.

Former IT project manager for a regional health care organization. Now retired (best profession ever). Every day is like Saturday. Morning coffee, play with the dogs, play online games, visit TUG once or twice a day, plan travel and take trips, and do lots of community activity in the afternoons and evenings.

I am a full time professional leisure practitioner🤣

Retired in 2011 from being a Big Eight CPA firm audit manager then a financial officer in the toy industry, in technology, in executive search, and in telecom at retirement. Now we try to help as grandparents to 6 children and 20 grandchildren, do service work, and enjoy more time with my dear wife of 54 years. We've been blessed.

Oh, and my wife and I squeeze great memories out of our Marriott vacation portfolio for a large family and friends. The grandkids think we own Ocean Watch after so many great reunions there. We own weeks at Ocean Watch, Newport Coast, Custom House, Grand Chateau, Timber Lodge and enough points.

I was a greeting card salesman. When you entered my county at 75 in a 55 I gave you a card recording your speed and said "Welcome to Suffolk County". Cards cost about $75 back then but they've gone up now. From the guys and girls still working sales are up.

That’s funny-

20 grandkids! We feel blessed with 6 and one on the way! How fantastic

I was in a career field that did not contribute to the making of the Cherry Pie but was highly influential in how the Pie was divided. With a large piece going to my industry.

i keep my license in case I see an interesting job come up, but then I look at my life now and say ā€œnah, I’m goodā€.
