My husband jokes that I make this a full time job! (Which I feel it is at sometime) when I talk about this group and others on Facebook he jokes what could these people do to invest this much time into timeshare 🤣 this is to purely entertain my husband that people can both have real jobs and focus on this! 🤣 I’m a stay at home wife

Eat bon-bons and consternate about timeshares. ;) Actually, I only worry a day or so 12 months prior to my next year's check-in date! Otherwise I check in with this forum every so often, brush my cats and assist my MIL at her Assisted Living facility.

My wife and I board dogs at home. Gives me lots of time to master all the minutiae of timeshare , hotels and cruises. Wish I could monetize the tips and tricks that have saved us money and time over the years. We take a week off most months to travel near and far. Chairman Benefit level, plus a recent addition of Sheraton Flex as well as an RCI week we have in the Berkshires. Never been tied to a school schedule , so I joke that we have had over 100 Honeymoons. We get a lot of value for the dollar on a modest income . .

I'm a project manager for a large company. I have lots of downtime waiting on others to get me what I need to move forward on things.

Ditto for me, though I work mainly on the change management side of things. Still lots of downtime waiting.

Large tech company (šŸ¤ž), customer experience/engineering, and my wife works for one of the Big 4 public accounting firms. But always planning, as we both prefer non-work.

I'm an expert seamstress specializing in bridal/formalwear and have been fortunate enough to work from home ever since my kids started middle school. I take in whatever work keeps me as busy as I want to be, always prioritizing time to work on all the weddings for our large families. COVID wreaked havoc with wedding schedules which is why I've been busier these past two years than ever before, but the catch-up is beginning to slow down so lots of time opening up for TUG. :)

Work for a 500M Technology company, selling technology solutions to fortune 500 companies. I have a salary and make commission on the Gross Profit (GP) of the project. To have more control of my time as I get older, I had them reduce my salary by 60% so my cost to the company is manageable and had them increase my % of GP. I am okay with a risk/reward based earnings and a mutual decision each year if I move from AlmostRetired to FinallyRetired. Since I control my own time, I can vacation more and work from vacation if need to.

As I posted a few years ago when I jumped into the DP renting market, I learn best by doing. I use my II traded and owned weeks as I always have and rent some points for additional vacations. I also rent points to reserve a week and rent the reserved week. This goal is the to cover cost of renting points + cost of MF + Club dues /II fees + taxes paid on renting. I have not achieved it yet, but i can see a path to get there if I wanted to invest more time. Just as in my earnings, there is Risk/rewards with this.

I work in Fraud Prevention for a major software company. My wife is the office manager for a small medical office. I am closing in on retirement in the next couple of years, though my wife wants to work longer than me..

Just hang out online all day... šŸ’»

I am a recently retired software engineer. My husband is a recently retired network engineer.

I'm lucky in that I'm able to do many things. Right now I'm babysitting the grand kids. The two year old wants some grapes. The four year old needs nothing but me and the TV. The wife is happy. Life is good.
