There is a standalone 1br in the South, and they apparently calculate the 1br tax based on that, and the tax is the same for all 1br, not just standalone.

The studio tax is just 2br - 1br.

And since standalone 1br maintenance fees are ~85% of 2br, this ratio carries over to taxes.

Then why is there a similar discrepancy for WKORV-N, where there isn't any standalone 1-bed?

I was at WKORV-N the last few weeks. Checked out 5/8/2025. Taxes for an IV studio were $5.94/night ($1.15 County, $3.93 State Owner Room Tax). I asked the front desk and they claimed the 1BR would be about $30. That lines up with what Controller1 was charged for a 2BR.

So It looks like WKORV-N nightly tax charges are:

Studio: $5.08
1BR: $29.98
2BR: $35.06
