Welk Perks for Resale Buyer

We recently attended a Welk sales presentation and opted for the auditions plan as I knew nothing about timeshares going in so didn't feel comfortable committing fully. We vacation regularly so the auditions plan seemed like a good deal vs what we would spend otherwise on accommodation and a good way to test out the Welk resorts and RCI.

On doing some research it seems buying a "used" or "resale" timeshare is a much better option as the price offered at retail is much higher to make up for marketing costs etc. However, there seemed to be a number of benefits that come with Welk ownership and I was wondering if these are passed on the new owner if you buy "used" or if they are only available if bought from Welk directly?

The perks I am referring to are:

• RCI membership fee included
• Access to "last-call" RCI holidays with cheap rates for week stays booked late - is this just an RCI perk regardless of where you own a timeshare?
• Bonus week when transferring points to RCI - again is this an RCI perk regardless of where you own a timeshare?
• Free access to Welk app for booking flights/car hire and discounted rates on some hotels.
• Welk credits earned on welk app bookings that can be used towards annual fee
• Free rollover of points to following year if notified before august 31st
• Anything else that people know of that miss out on when buying resale vs direct?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sam

Here is my understanding of what is included if you buy resale/secondary market:
*RCI membership (it is included in your maintenance fees like everyone else)
* Access to last-call and extra vacations - it is a normal RCI perk

I am unsure of bonus week when transferring points but I kind of doubt it. Perhaps someone else can respond. On the Welk ap and Welk credits I am unsure but suspect it isn't of much value. Roll over of points to following year? I suspect that is an RCI function.

So are you not a Welk owner if you buy resale? Can I still use the Welk day pass if I buy resale? Thanks!
