Weight Loss Challenge -- join us anytime!

I'm on the road for the next two weeks and did my WW's weigh-in in Denver Saturday. I was down 0.8 and was pleased with that. I was especially proud that I managed to get in a 5 mile run prior to the weigh-in. Later that day I had lunch  with RICKANDCINDY at one of their favorite mexican restaurants in Denver.

It's always great to place a face with a name.

WTG!

I always feel that if the scale goes down when you are traveling, that's a job well done!! :whoopie: :whoopie: :whoopie:

Well I was down 8 lbs on the 16th then we left for Seaside, OR for a week and I gained 3 lbs back. It was cloudy the first day and then it rained for the next 4 days so not much to do but eat, drink and be merry:rofl: On Thursday the sun finally came out and we enjoyed the pool for the next 2 days. We rented an ocean front condo at the Worldmark resort but I couldn't even see the ocean most of those first 4 days :bawl: Back on track today so I'll see how this week goes.

I agree -- if you travel and lose ANYTHING, you are ahead of the game!

How is everyone gonna keep on track with the Labor Day festivities? We are invited to a party on Monday and I hope to go late (starts at 1pm) and go after I eat my Jenny Craig food!

I'm pooped!

I flew out of Denver Friday morning on the same flight as Dan Rather, Bob Shaffer of CBS & Ray Sauraz of "News Hour" (PBS) along with approximately 250 other media folks as we trecked to St. Paul! Funny, the CBS stars were seated in 1st class...PBS was in coach with the rest of us. We landed at 3pm and I worked until 11pm last night.

This morning I ran 6 miles, did a weigh-in and meeting at a local Weight Watchers meeting and was down 2.8 lbs!!!

I'm a little surprised but was on the go all week in Denver and keeping with my training plan so it apperars to be working for me. Actually I'm finding it's been easier to stick with my efforts on the road as I'm taken out of my element with it's built in traps at home.

Funny thing...I needed to run and to get to the WW's meeting this morning. I plotted a course and ended up missing my turn. I ran my distance but in a different direction that I charted. Once I asked somebody how far away I was, I stopped & pulled out google maps on the phone and discovered I was nearly 4 miles off course . Ended up taking a cab to Weight Watchers.

Spending the rest of the afternoon relaxing in my room and may go visit the state fair later this afternoon/evening. I DO miss time share units however...this hotel room stuff sure isn't as nice! :bawl:

Down 1.2 pounds this week.

Seems like a small amount compared to last week, so I am focusing on the big number (8.2 pounds)
