Hope you are not too hot! It's been gorgeous here in sunny San Diego, about 75-80 all week.
How is the Challenge coming along? Are you still there and with me? It's hard over the summer. I started Jenny Craig last Thursday and have been VERY HUNGRY on my 1200 calorie diet. Soooo, I know it's working. I think I am down 2 pounds although it's only been 5 days. The food is great (but pricy). Of course, there is not enough of it and I am usually starved by dinner and again late at night. But I am told it will get better with time. For now, I am happy to have found a plan that is so simple for me that is making me stick to it.

I am sure I will be checking in for encouragement as I have never been on a diet before. Maui is 8 months away and I would like to lose at least 35 pounds by then.

so I had the balsamic but it just was not the same. Breakfast is still the most challenging for me I am already egged out! Do I sound carb deprived! Dinner tonight was good. I made chicken breast with a toasted pistachio crust with melted gorgonzola and very lightly steamed broccoli with smart balance followed by a sugar free ice cream bar. OK enough ranting
