Our Costco store in Newport News, VA has been without WD 40 for six weeks. Why?
I went this morning to Costco in Newport News, VA, no WD40 and TP, limited selection meats.
They have clorox beach; but no clorox wipes or gloves.

I've got 3 cans of WD40 in my garage.
I'll fax one to you.

Is WD 40 a secret cure for the covid-19?
No WD 40 for six (6) weeks. What's up will the high demand and no stock on hands.

I tend to view Costco as "grab it now if ever you want it" long before pandemic. I learned that years ago when I was first a member.

Why WD 40 specifically?? I can't even posit a crackpot theory.

Now if the duct tape is also out that long as well, we've got a real problem....

If it moves and it shouldn’t, duct tape.
If it doesn’t move and it should, WD-40.

Cheers

No idea why it's been sold out. But I know the supply chain is all kinds of screwed up right now. Maybe the people who make WD40 are making Hand Sanitizer, or something.

Did you stop at the Member Services desk and ask if it's on order? They can usually tell if something is coming in. Meanwhile, maybe try an auto parts store or Home Depot?

Plenty of WD40 available both at Lowe's and Home Depot......

go to costco for food
Lowes and home depot are for WD40 and electrical tape ... :)

how did 2 threads on this get going.

@pedro47: I was just informed by my spouse that Costco hasn't sold WD40 "in years." (At least not in the Pacific Northwest.) They apparently weren't selling enough of it to justify carrying it.

My earlier comment applies even more: Try an auto parts place or Home Depot. :)

Dave

Most auto parts or hardware stores carry it as well.

Cheers

@pedro47: I just replied to your other thread. (Why do you have two threads going with this same question?) My spouse tells me Costco has not sold WD40 "in years." At least not in the Pacific Northwest. My earlier comment applies - check an auto parts store or Home Depot.

Dave

(Why do you have two threads going with this same question?)

The two have been merged so now we have just one.

I usually find WD40 at Lowes next to the "3-in-1 oil" (Aisle 61-62 in my store).*
The dreaded Walmart may also have it.
-------------------------------------------
*My whine about Lowes: Their employees are too eager to corral unattended carts.
Today, I left my cart with stuff briefly to wander down an aisle, and upon returning,
found my cart being carted off two aisles away. I yelled, "Hey, can I have my cart?"
<Geesh!>
