Is there Shell in CWA?
Yes - there is, though as @dioxide45 indicated, I don't believe the Shell inventory is available via ARP - not sure why this is - as I'll be the first to say I don't own nor understand how Shell timeshares work, or what the founding trust documents document as rules for ownerships.

I thought it was all in Club Wyndham Prefer. Is it really in CWA if it's not available via ARP?

But if it isn't available in ARP, then it isn't really in CWA. It is just available as a club booking at 10 months.

Good point - I also don't see any of the Shell resorts listed out on the CWA resort list page. That doesn't necessarily mean the trust doesn't hold deeded inventory per se - I really wish I could get ahold of a recent CWA POS to put some of these types of mercurial issues to bed.

I agree about picking up grand desert. If I had it all to do over again I would not have purchased my bonnet creek contracts either (which are less than CWA, but still relatively high as far as maintenance fees go). You can usually pick up grand desert contracts on eBay for less than closing costs.
I bought a Wyndham grand desert 154k point resell yesterday. Thanks to all for your input, I felt confident buying at this resort for low maintenance fees🙏. Curious how many days on average I can book with 154k points

With this contract, do I have access to the worldmark marina dunes and world mark Windsor properties? I live in San Fran Bay Area and plan to stay at these two properties. Is it difficult to find reservations at the 10 mo mark (Sep 2025)?
Thank you!

The directory has point charts for every Club Wyndham resort:

No. You cannot use resale points to book Club Pass (e.g. WorldMark) resorts. You can book resorts that are "dual-affiliated" with inventory in both systems, those appear in the directory under both Club Wyndham and WorldMark names. Bison Ranch in Arizona is one example.

Congrats @mimi67! Now you’re playing the waiting game like me. I bought grand desert a couple of months ago and am waiting for Wyndham to complete transfer.

Any suggestions on what to look for when considering a world mark resale? Interested in their California properties. I should’ve bought worldmark vs Wyndham. I was thinking I had access to all worldmark properties too

There's a worldmark forum here, that would be the place to ask questions. From what I know, all worldmark contracts are the same, they are ALL in a trust like CWA. There is not a concept of deeded or not, all ownerships are the same, and they bill maintnenace fees by the amount of points you own and it's done in ranges. I think you get 1 HK credit for every 10k points you use. There is also not a concept of VIP there, so no suite upgrades or points discounts in the 60 day window. Points there are good for 2 years I think as well.

Apparently some old accounts have unlimited HK, but only very old ones. You can ask about that in the WM forum. They also have a different version of bonus time and other special sales which Wyndham doesn't have. I'm not a WM owner, so I don't know the ins and outs really. If you buy multiple contracts you can have them combined at purchase / transfer time, although there may be some caveats to that.

You can't use resale Wyndham points to book Worldmark properties, that is true.

Resell Worldmark has full access to the 90+ Worldmark Resorts. Also Monday Madness, Bonus Time, and Inventory Specials (these are cash options) and Wait List. No access to Club Pass (ability to Book Wyndham Resorts with Worldmark Credits) or Wyndham South Pacific (which includes 3 Timeshares in Europe ). 1 Housekeeping Token from 5,000 to 19,999 Credits. A second Housekeeping Token at 20,000 Credits, a 3rd at 30,000 Credits, etc. 1 Guest Certificate for every 10,000 Credits or part thereof. Credits are good for about 25 months. An example - if your Anniversary Month is August on August 1, 2024 your Account will get its reload of Credits. These Credits from August 1, 2024 must be used to make a Reservation NLT August 31, 2026 but because you can Book out 13 months the Booking can start as late as September 30, 2027. Housekeeping Credits can also Rollover. You can also borrow Credits and Housekeeping Tokens 1 year in advance. Guest Certificates do not roll over and can not be borrowed in advance. You can Book 13 months in advance

Many Worldmark Accounts are going for 10 Cents per Credit. Checkout www.wmowners.com.

i bought a wyndham resale and reading the estoppel. There is mention of " Club Wyndham Plus Assessment" in the amount of $82.64 and $0 for special assessment. Is the Assessment fee the same as the maintenence fee? or over and above. See below snip. Also, are there any other fees i should inquire about before signing the contract.

The "Assessment fee" listed is your maintenance fees + program fee. A "Special Assessment" os pretty rare for Wyndham owners, i've never had one. They are one-time charges that would get assessed to a specific property. If you bought CWA, I can't imagine a scenario where you would ever get a special assessment. If you bought deeded, it's possible, but like I said, pretty rare.

Program fee is an additional fee that everyone pays per point to be part of Club Wyndham. That goes straight to Wyndham, and the Maintenance Fees go to the resort/HOA.

Program fee + Maintenance fee is your monthly payment... they are calling it the "Assessment fee". Most, if not all timeshare systems have something like this.
