This morning at Nanea. Best room assignment I've had yet for an Interval exchange to Nanea. Building 7 on the 5th floor. The ocean looks much closer than the perspective of the photo would have you believe.

Westin Los Cabos 2 BR Premium 1619. Saw several whales, including a couple of mothers and calves - a bit of a surprise this late in the year.

@Eric B Looks wonderful. Is the beach swimmable at Westin Cabo? How does Westin accommodations compare to Cabo Azul?

The beach isn't swimmable but there have been a few people walking in the water about hip deep or so. The accommodations are as good or better than Cabo Azul or La Pacifica. IMHO, the location at Cabo Azul is much better for walking out in town easily while the Westin has better views, though we haven't splurged for an ocean view room at Cabo Azul. I also think that the views at the Westin are better than what we had at La Pacifica where we tried out a 1 BR Premiere Plus - I thought that was set further back from the coast and there were intervening palm trees blocking part of the view.

What is the issue with swimming there?

The water looks calm enough in your pictures, but I suppose it could be pretty cold and the currents could be treacherous. Views are great!

They typically blame the surf, currents, and rocks at a lot of the beaches around Los Cabos. I'm not sure what it is here, though the water is colder than I'd like in any case.

It looks deserted. Usually the boardwalk is brimming with walkers.

Those standalone 1BR units are very nice! They don't have a studio next door so the foyer is all for their own use and provide significant additional space for storing your beach things and other items. You also don't run into anybody going in and out of your room. There are not many of them and I would consider the xx24 and xx25 units to be at premium locations. The next units towards the beach are the ocean front studios of the corner units.
