Vistana MF paid, then billed again?

I paid my 2026 WKORVN fees before the due date, got email confirmation, after payment the amount due was showing zero online. The full amount was pending for a couple of days, but then posted to my credit card, as usual.

Today, I received an email, "Your 2026 e-Statement is now available for viewing", "Your billing statement for Ocean Resort Master Association is now available for viewing online." When I log in, it says "delinquent billing" with today's date, and the full amount is showing due again. No trace of my previous payment.

Anyone else has the same issue?
 
I paid mine online. Have the confirmation receipt. But also still show the balance due for WKORVN for this year.

Same issue here with Kierland. I paid the MF's, my credit card account shows the charge, and Marriott shows it unpaid.
 
Thanks for the heads up. I can understand the frustration. I just checked our account. Each of our WKV’s and our Flex show zero balances. It sounds like they will be receiving a lot of calls from frustrated owners who need this fixed. And hopefully they can keep it from happening again in the future.
 
Our SVV weeks still show $0 balance.
 
I suspect this happened on/after a certain payment date. My payment didn't post on the one week that I paid last. It did clear the credit card though....

IT was never great but this is a new low.

So other than asking for a resolution, what now? Do we make an extra payment to avoid potential penalties and then ask for a refund?

Had me worried enough to go check..

All 8 of ours are showing $0.

Each was paid at least a week before the due date.

Perhaps this is a sync issue for those who made payments close in to the due dates?
 
It has expanded for a second contract today, WSJ VG. When I go to e-statements, it now shows "HOA Delinquent Billing" for two contracts:

Both were paid on the due date, in the morning. Got the email receipts for both, "Association Management Payment", showing "date processed" on the due date.

I just called, and after transferring a few times, they told me they can't fix it by phone or email, and telling me to mail my credit card statement to a mailing address or send to a fax number. This is completely unacceptable.

@echino - that sucks, sorry. Wonder why yours was messed up?
I just checked - ours (WKORV, WPORV and WKV) are fine ($0 balance), and paid close to due dates.

This is definitely not acceptable. If an entity (business, HOA, whatever) takes your money, it is a baseline expectation that they will account for it properly and not try to charge you again for something you already paid for.
 
Just got off the phone with owner services. They stated after a while that they’ve noticed payments made online on 1/14 and 1/15 are not reflecting in accounts. As usual there’s some IT update and they anticipate these should correct in show in the next few days. We shall see.

Have they assessed any late fees and interest? Is there any grace period for that?

Hopefully they don’t start restricting usage periods…

It's the big update from Cobal to Fortran. They found some 80 year old programmers to make it happen.

Sadly it’s probably not far from the truth!!

Thankfully my payment finally meandered its way to showing up today.

Ditto. Mine was not posted yesterday afternoon but this morning it was.

Except on my first login attempt the newly-launched Vistana login page crashed and said ā€œtry again laterā€ Some things may never change….

Hey, I actually learned both of those programming languages and used punched cards to run them! I then summarily forgot them because I was one of the last classes at the university that used those languages.

I'm still a ways from being 80 years old, though ... šŸ˜‚
 
Hey I'm 60 and I learned COBOL and Fortran too. But haven't used them in some 35 years, or more.
 
I cannot log into "formerly Vistana" today because they are requiring two-factor id. I entered the information for the ID but still not working. Thank you Marriott crappy tech.
 
I logged in this morning without issue. My accounts look good except one week which has a balance due of $10, which I believe is for the ARDA contribution which I decline to pay. I wrote to Vistana about this last month but of course they haven't replied. Marriott has really poor customer service. If I didn't enjoy my weeks so much at Westin resorts, I'd sell and move on. But I'm certainly not buying any more, not even on the resale market, when I was previously considering doing so. I just don't trust MVC sufficiently to do this without causing me frustration and aggrevation such as has been reported in this thread.

At least their employees are showing up to answer calls and emails. Here's video of them arriving at the office.

My account now also shows as paid.

Why Marriott needed six days longer to credit my payment compared to when Chase charged my credit card is another Marriott IT mystery that will probably never be solved.
 
I am still astonished at how bad IT generally is for these companies.
 
I received same email today. And I already paid as well.
I tried logging in to the app to check my statement and after I clicked on ā€œstatements ā€œ I received a ā€œyour browser is out of dateā€ message which Ive never seen before on my iPhone or this app.
