Vistana closes WLR, tells us to cancel. I'm refusing. What next?

surprised you even kept that reservation for May 3rd, there was no way that was going to happen. Were going to be lucky if we can get into some place at all during the summer.

Why would you be surprised? We were within the 60-day prior period, and what Vistana was offering for cancellations stunk. So we figured it would be no worse to stick with them. On that we were right. But as it turns out, they treat folks who stick with no better than they treat those who cancel and leave empty units unoccupied.

Looks like the state of Quintana Roo Mexico is open as of June 1. This should mean Lagunamar and the other Westin should be open.
