View from the HGVC or bHC Balcony

Grand Islander Penthouse - Resort View.
What is the room number? The front desk said there is only one 2 bedroom resort view on each Penthouse floor; the same for mountain view too.

What is the room number?
I don't remember the room number, it was something like 3810 or 3820 if I remember correctly (I was there in 2023). Very top floor. There are 5 penthouse floors at the GI, but only 3 or 4 PH resort view rooms. I thought it was 4, but only 3 are listed for booking. The bottom floor resort view room is the lounge.

Since other forums have this thread I thought I would start one for HGVC. Share your view from HGVC locations on this thread

Here is our view from a studio premier unit at W57 high floor. Balconies are a few floors below this room but the floor to ceiling window vistas of Central Park are fantastic. (This view is a benefit of owning NYC bHC because owners take these limited units first during resort reservation window so HGVC and RCI points traders get smaller units on lower floors creating a very different impression of W57.)

What is "bHC" ?

The initialism bHC means “by Hilton Club,” which was the old term for the resorts that are now called “a Hilton Club.” They are predominantly in NYC and DC.

What @Eric B said. It’s a way of trying to keep some sanity in the HGV alphabet soup of acronyms. By making a difference between the Hilton Club system (bHC), the totally different Hilton Club property, the main Hilton Grand Vacations Club (HGVC), Hilton Vacation Club (HVC) and the over company name Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV). Throw in HGV Max and it gets pretty ridiculous.

Many here, including me, feel that the alphabet soup is purposeful to confuse any potential buyers thinking they are purchasing into HGVC but are really purchasing into HVC (the former Diamond Resorts). They have an over abundance of unsold points in their HVC/DRI trust system. They also try to convince current HGVC owners into trading in their deeds for points in the trust system. With BlueGreen entering the mix, it’s just going to get worse.

Obligatory Good Morning Vietnam reference:

Thank you for calling this an initialism rather than an acronym, since it isn't. :)

Cheers.

Not fancy, but a cool view from the 9th floor at The District, just outside the 1BR Plus corner unit.

Well, I hope you can see it. I’ve always had trouble getting images to post in here. Natively on my phone, they’re too large, once in the cloud and downsized, they’re in the wrong format, and trying to hotlink them from other upload sites seldom works. So, I dunno.

no worries; enjoy the precious time with your loved ones in DC!
Happy Holidays!

Happy new year from W57th penthouse balcony!
We could only see the reflection of these in building windows from The Quin 19th floor balcony. Happy New Year!

Did any of you go to times square?

Did any of you go to times square?
NO! But we could see the massive crowds at 57th and 7th! I watched from this location a couple of years ago

I grew up in NYC, and even in the 70s, when it was nowhere near as big in hype as it is now, I had no interest in going to the zoo scene. It is so much worse now.

Cheers.
