View from the HGVC or bHC Balcony

Here are a couple of pictures from our balcony in room 2101 at W. 57th. They are pictures of the huge 111 W. 57th across the street. The second picture is a blowup showing a self-portrait of mrs. brp, who took the picture.

Just returned from HGVC Sandestin and here are views from our balcony, we had two balconies though, one over the pool area and toward the bay and the other off the master bedroom and toward the nature reserve called Jolee Island.

+ free kayak (& other beach gear) rentals = very nice (as you kindly shared, in FB group)!

(have never seen any of the other resorts offer free kayak rentals: any others in HGV/HVC system?)

Charter club on Marco Island does or did as of a couple of years ago.
 
HGVC Sandestin also offers free bike rentals four hours daily for two guests in a unit. The reserved area on the beach is priceless. with a shuttle that takes you to the beachside. Our kids love it there. We began going there when HGV "managed" the property years ago. It changed ownership a couple of times since then, and now HGV owns it. But reserving it is not easy. When it was managed by HGV we reserved it with regular membership. We even elevated our membership to the elite level so that we could reserve a year in advance. Since our grandkids love it so much, we continue to rent there so that we can continue going. I don't even know if it is available thru HGV Max. It is a well maintained property that is all about location. It is walking distance to the village with shops, restaurants and entertainment. I love the area by the marina. We have met so many nice folks out by the grill area.

It is definitely a return place for us.
 
Since we have been paying to rent a place there, we offered to rent a place on the beach side instead but all the kids said absolutely not. They have grown up there and really love it. I do too even if I simply sit on the balcony and read.

I was there over the weekend! Just left late this AM... Wish I knew you were there & would have loved to meet you IRL!
(Love the flower fields! I stayed at MarBrisa, next door, but walked the public walkway, overlooking the Flower Fields, as in your picture above, almost every day, for Sunrise & Sunset! (was there this morning too!). Enjoy your vacay! Weather was beautiful today (although it was a bit nippy over the weekend)..
