JoCo - Thank you for bringing back this thread. As T-Dot said, please message me directly and we can discuss my group. I can definitely recommend Aimfair. I know Bob Jones who runs the site. He also holds member get togethers a couple of times a year at the resorts. That may be your best bet.
We are Estates owners and very interested in joining your conversation.

Do you have a description of the Estates Villas? I have not heard of this offering.

Has anyone seen an updated map of the Vidanta properties that includes the Estates and the new bridges/paths?

I know a lot will change in next few months out there, but we will be at the Residences in June, but just trying to hype up family members before we go in 6 months.

We just got back today. The new golf cart Bridge over to the estates is open. We were able to do a preview of the theme park where 2 rides were open but they said it's closing again during low season to expedite construction and they are going to open in full by October. Looking at the current state of construction, I'm not sure how they will hit a November date for the entire park but the part that is open is beautiful!

We signed an Emperor's Private Reserve 2 bedroom contract on Wednesday but I think we might rescind tomorrow. May I ask what size unit you bought and what you were upgrading from? What was the approximate price?

It's my dad's contract and I was recently added to it after my mother passed. He mistakenly bought into their terrible Deluxxe contract after being a GL 2 bedroom spa suite owner. Vida admitted that the Deluxxe units were a mistake (they will never "renovate" again apparently) but instead of fixing the contract and giving a credit, they just upsold us into this Emperor's Reserve contract.

I feel like up until Deluxxe that they always delivered what they said they would deliver but now it all sounds like smoke and mirrors. The fact that there is no site plan they can provide with the unit plan is sketchy. I'd like to think they would deliver on this being a beach front property but I don't see anywhere in the contract where it says beachfront.

We looked at the Emperor contract last week. The beginning of the contract states that there is no obligation to build them and there is no time frame-put me off after all the promises we've had. We are GL 2-bedroom owners. They wanted $100k to upgrade. We went out to East Cape since they are promising 1st building to open in July-I have my doubts. It's very isolated, supposedly only going to be offered to Estate owners. Only 36 units, one restaurant. Pool was dug but no rebar yet. You better have a car unless you are content with staying put.

Hi @dianam
Welcome to TUG
East Cape has been close to opening for about 8+ years.

In 2016 in a NV presentation - I asked our sales rep
about East Cape & he was very truthful.
He said it would open "when the company was happy with the build & was ready to open it "

Thanks. We had been waiting for East Cape for several years. Not sure it's going to happen in our lifetime. Supposedly, when/if it does open they are going to close all/a portion? of the Grand Mayan to revamp. We were told the old sales building is being torn down. We went to Riviera Maya the week before: the French restaurant was replaced with a chef competition which you judge; Jungala is closed for the next 3 mo for maintenance; the towers for the gondola are going in that will connect Joya with the rest of the facility; they've added a number of chairs at the main pool which was very much needed. We were also told that Acapulco is under reconstruction and they are hoping to re-open sometime mid year. Staff was relocated to other facilities. Hope that helps.

We upgraded frome Deluxxe as well, there were allot of promises given that I really don't know if they will fully honor, we'll see. I Was excited for 3rdhome but when I went to deposit some weeks for the "keys" I was extremely pissed, number of keys offered were a joke and I hoping it was a mistake, will be venting at the next visit.

Leslie - the 15 number is highly suspect, as is everything you are/will be told by sales. The Estates are to built in 3 locations - Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Maya, and East Cape. There will be 4, 3, 2, and 1 bedroom configurations. The 3 bedroom will be a combination of a lock/off 1 and 2 bedroom unit (like the current Punta tower in NV). The Estates in NV will be built in "pods." There will be anywhere between 12 - 20 pods of varying configurations of unit types and sized. 4 bedroom are penthouse units and theoretically will have a view over the tree line to the ocean. List price for a 4 bedroom penthouse estate is $2.4 million. Obviously, final pricing will be quite different from this number. I have heard various tales of whether the first 15 (or in some cases a bigger number then this) will have access to the existing Grand Luxxe inventory, whether new owners will have access to Grand Luxxe inventory, whether contracts will be location specific +/- the ability to utilize the Estates in the other locations, what will be ready and when. The current discussion is that the first phase (and no one has any idea what this will be) is to be opened in December.
Private message me for more details. I am reluctant to share too much in public. And, virtually everything you will hear on this board and others is ALL speculation. There is pretty much no concrete details about the development(s).

I hate to burst anyones bubble but Vidanta has been running the largest timeshare fraud in the world for over fifteen years, generating billions of dollars in Mexico !!
# This is all inside information that generally is hidden or buried in that huge stack of contracts # - which no one understands, surprise, surprise using the fact that clients very rarely bother to read their contracts because they make them so confusing ! It is also a strategy to upsell you again because of the confusion when you go to ask questions about what you bought in the first place. Regardless of what you own in Vidanta from the bottom Sea Garden to the top Estates, you only have a right to use contract at the Vidanta resorts and no investment value , all the lies, that you will be able to sell it, leave it to the family, the value goes up, you can buy real estate with your investment, are all lies, lies and more lies.

For the Estates owners who were scammed into investing hundreds of thousands of dollars, it is unfortunate because Vidanta and its affiliated Marketing companies Fidelis Marketing, Vida Vacations, Vidanta have found a way to identify vulnerable old rich people by gathering information on you over the years.

Sadly attempts have been made to sue the owners of Vidanta and the fraudsters running the sales operation starting with the bosses Valentino Danchev , Chad Doetzel ,Ian Shefelt and Ameet Vedd but no one knows who to sue since they have multiple company names like Fidelis Marketing, Vida Vacations, Vidant and they can pay money to shut down any lawsuit. Sometimes they move these people sideways when any lawsuit crops up and they continue working under a different title .
Chances are that if you have spent between 150,000 U.S.Dollars to millions, buying into the Estates then you would have dealt with or heard of one of these criminals aswell as David Colomb, Marco Rosco , Omar, Candice, Michelle, Brittany, Jason Vidgoff , Imran Ashraf, and many more who are responsible for scamming old vulnerable people out of the big money. Vidanta has political connections with the Mexican Presidents past & present Which provides protection to Vidanta. This organisation is the Bernie Madoff of Mexico.

If you check your contract it explains that you only have the use of 1 Registered Week , which effectively means you only purchase 1 week in a fancy timeshare. That is why the contracts say 1 in 10 to confuse you further .
Some owners have 10 weeks registered as a timeshare . All the other fancy weeks called Residence Weeks , Bonus Weeks, Shared Weeks, Privilege weeks, unshared weeks or any number of fancy made up names they use, mean nothing. These are just all bonus weeks .

It can be embarrasing to admit you spent half a million dollars for 1 week in a timeshare but it is such an elaborate convincing fraud , carried out by highly trained professionals, who know which buttons to press that there is no shame in admitting you got robbed .
The company build big beautiful resorts and they offer you hundreds of thousands of dollars in rent for your weeks ,if you actually said I want to take the rent as cash they will say you will pay over 35 % in tax to the US Inland revenue so why dont you leave that rental here and use it to pay the balance on the contract. Infact they start off at a high number take this off the alleged none existent rental and still sucker you for a few hundred thousand for a one week timeshare.
Sadly this is the truth šŸ„²
They have also learned that people from the Southern parts of the United States or wealthy farmer or business people are easier to scam.
Unfortunately they also know there is very little you can do once they take your money.
Spread the word and save other people from giving away their kids inheritance or their savings to unscrupulous Vidanta Timeshare criminals. All this information can be verified by clients and by reading your contracts
GOOD LUCK !!!

When I click on Jssquared's name, I don't get a "Start a New Conversation" choice. Recently bought 2-bdrm Estates NV contract. Got a tour of the existing estates units and they are beautiful.

Has anybody else noticed that there used to be an exit from Vidanta onto the Tepic Puerto Vallarta highway northbound, but it has been closed with a barrier of large ornamental planting pots? It sure discourages guests from going off resort. Instead you have to head south towards Las Juntas (the town just north of the airport), then make a sort of U-turn through the shopping area to head back north. Makes going into NV or Bucerias for dinner or something a pain. Think it's intentional? They wont let pedestrians out onto Paseo de las Moras to walk into NV Marina area either, even though there are gates. You have to walk up the beach either to the jetty, or cut through the Vidanta Sea Garden.

On a more positive note, have you all discovered the sea turtle sanctuary Vidanta runs just north of the Mercado do Artesenas? It's cool that they sponsor the facility. On many evenings in the late summer and fall, you can go there at sunset and watch them release the baby turtles into the surf.

If you go to NV and walk past the Paradise Village resort, there is an organization that does turtle hatchings and releases toward sundown. We have entered the beach by Bahia del Sol. The organization is located next to it on the beach. Of all the times I have been to Vidanta NV, I have never seen them do a release(?). It's been a few years, so you might want to check before going there. Although, a visit to the supermarket and restaurants in Paradise Village is worth it just for that.
