About 15 miles from the Kona International Airport sites the Kona Hawaiian. This is an amazing resort. The buildings are all made of natural wood "Hawaiian style" so it feels like a trip to the past. The living room is huge and the deck is large. I ate most of my meals out on the deck with the ceiling fan keeping things cool.

There are two pool areas and grills throughout the property. The grounds are laid out with nice plants and enjoyable walks through the property. There is a gym as well. Staff was very helpful!
