I am having problems with a certain supervisor at the Trading places international. Basically, one of my fixed week at a TPI resort (seaside in Mrytle Beach) in a 3 bedroom condo during summer got converted into a 1 bedroom by them without notifying me. I had a renter lined up for the week and than I found out that due to some mistake (not mine), I only had a reservation in a 1 bedroom. This was not an exchange. A supervisor has not returned my calls for 3 months now and I only speak to a low level person who just does not know what to do and she leaves an email for the supervisor to contact me. I am playing this game for 3 months now. I need to write a letter to some type of Big boss to get their attention if possible. Any other ideas to escalate this?

I follow a consumer/travel advocate called Chris Elliott (elliott.org) You might want to consider checking him out, or use the community users forum (http://elliott.org/forum/). You may find the help you need there.

Got your deed and MF invoice?

Send copies Certified Mail Return Receipt to both the Resort Manager and the President of the Board of Directors (mail regular mail to the other board members).

That info should be on their website ... or have someone else call the resort (from a different number and/or area code).

Demand USAGE of YOUR OWNERSHIP ... the certified mail letters put them on NOTICE they will be personally responsible for ANY and ALL damages. You do not have to mention WHAT you are doing with your units ... it is NONE of their business.

If you have prior YEARS MFs invoice ... include them for several years.

Just my layman's opinion ... you should have that all documented in your life.

Good luck .. something is FUNNY.

Any luck? I got my letter from Seaside saying that they are going with Capital Resorts for their management company starting October 1.
