Tommy Bahamas beach chairs available at WKORN

Is this no longer a working thing? We were on the schedule for later in July. Thanks to everyone who made it last as long as it did.
 
Unfortunately, the post on June 14 indicated that the chairs were no longer around at that time. They certainly lasted a long time! I was on the calendar for a couple of weeks coming up (October, December, February), and haven't taken myself off of the calendar (if it still exists), but assume that the chairs are not available anymore until another person starts a new bundle.

I'll be there in November. If I score some chairs I will post here before I leave to see if anybody is there, then we can maybe restart this? I used to rent form the guy on front street, but he's probably not there. So I will check Costco and see what I can find.
 
You can’t get onto Front Street - and property around there was within the firestorm zone.

I asked for chairs/umbrella at the WKORV bell desk on Sept 30th - nothing.

We ended up getting two chairs and umbrella delivered quickly from Maui Baby Co - $55 for the week

We bought a chair and umbrella yesterday, and I am starting a new bundle #3 and Google calendar. We are hoping that if enough people reserve this bundle that we might get to use the items when we come back in February 2024 :cheer:. This is my first time trying to create a public calendar, so I am not sure if it will work, but here goes! Who wants to try to make a reservation? If my attempt at this calendar fails, we can always go back to the old fashioned way of posting that we have items to hand off to each other.

Instructions to add your name to the calendar to reserve the bundle:

From your Google Calendar:

Create + (upper left)
Use your name or login or both as the Event Name
Mark the Event as All-Day and Does Not Repeat and select your start date and end date
Under Add Guests, use the email address below
Then Save
Send
Invite All Guests

Email address to use to add your name/reservation to the calendar: f4b13ea9f8f1e87a0f24d94d7551b4a2a68c0c54cfaf73aed261f2a1368f2706@group.calendar.google.com

I'll be there Feb 9-16 hanging out at the pool and beach with my new grand-daughter--she'll be 5 months old. come say hi!

Marian, I will add your name for those dates when I am get back to the room. We need some folks arriving in early December to keep the bundle alive!

Definitely, pm me and we can coordinate. This time it's just the 2 of us. The grandkids are all coming in the summer. We had my grandson in Hawaii at that age. So fun to have it to look forward to!

@Ken555, how long will you be here? Two weeks? We leave on the 9th so could hand them off to you on the 8th sometime unless someone else wants them. If no one else wants them past when you leave, then this bundle will have a very short life.

I don't think your public URL is right. It downloads an ICS file.
 
can you add me for 12/24-12/31. we will be at marriott maui ocean club and can take it back to westin and hand it over to whoever sign up for 12/29. thanks

We need someone to take the chair and umbrella from 12/9 to 12/24ish, otherwise the bundle will disappear. @Ken555 said he could keep them for some of that time, but I am not sure if he will be here that long.

We are at Honua Kai Dec 23-29 before a week at KOR and can come to rescue them if that helps.
