I’m in the Deed purchase process for 717,000 points at the Wyndham Vacation Resorts Panama City Beach. This is an Annual ownership interest and is allocated 717,000 points for use in Each year. The use year for this contract currently ends on 12/31.

My current timeline with LT Transfers and the buying process:

Jan 22 - Owner and Buyer agree on purchase price from TUG2 listing
Jan 24 - DocuSign sales agreement from LT
Jan 30 - Buyers Estoppel received and ROFR submitted to Wyndham

Just to keep the record straight - do NOT count on transfers to go smoothly. We are changing owner names on a resale contract, and the changes are not immediate family. We are using LT transfers. On Dec 4, we sent in the new deed, transfer details, copies of drivers licenses and $399 check. My check was cashed on Dec 19. In the mail today I received a letter from Wyndham telling me that in order for them to process a transfer I have to fill out their "transfer form", get a new deed, and send in a $399 check. It seems they have the cover letter, but separated the rest of the documents from the request. Interesting that the "transfer form" asks for SSN and no where does it ask for a drivers license. I'm going to email them a copy of the cancelled check, and a copy of the paperwork that was already sent. I assume the 12-14 weeks will start over again. Sigh.

I just reached out to them for a gratuitous transfer (letting them know we were both Tuggers and understood the delays involved), and they indicated they would do it.

I found it on the TUG listings

Our transfer is also 2 “Tuggers” , sound naughty 😈 and I like it , going to use it going forward.

Our last update from LT Transfers was Jan 31, “We received the estoppel from Mr. OtherTugger today. I have attached a copy of the buyer's portion for your review. Your file is currently in processing. Once we have all of your documents ready for review, we will update everyone with instructions on next steps.”

LT needs the buyer/ seller to know that the transfer can take a ridiculous amount of time, not LT's fault, but it's Wyndham, and they have had plenty that took 6 months, so as long as you know that and don't blame the closing company, then they will do it. It's the length of time Wyndham takes for transfer that makes LT pause on those transfers.

In the process of transferring a Wyndam deeded ownership now. LT is just a pleasure to deal with.

There's an old saying that you can have it good, quick, or cheap -- pick two. It doesn't apply to LT Transfers.
