The times are a changing, especially in Orlando

Once a timeshare traveler, always a timeshare traveler. ;) Or to cite our YouTuber-Tugger whose nickname here I already forgot since I subscribe to his content on YT: "the best destination is always a timeshare".

Do you guys mean big bathtubs like at HGVC Elara, Trump, Flamingo?

I'd agree about the tiny tubs with curtains, that's so impractical, with *bleep*ing curtains sticking to my body if I move too much, but these large tubs in master bedrooms found in most HGVCs are great.
Yes, those large Jacuzzi style jetted tubs. Some love em, but most don't use them. They take up a lot of real estate in the unit and have a lot of costs when it comes to maintenance.

Not to mention a great way to spread pathogens....here are a few examples but there are many more.

One TS we frequent renovated both bathrooms.
They replaced the jacuzzi in the master bath with a shower.
But then they changed the tub in the other to a whirlpool.
We only use the shower and store our cooler in the other.

My loves a tub, and really misses those when the hotel / resort does not have one. But the large soaking tub (no jets) are the best. That takes up just a bit of extra space over a regular tub, and avoids the maintenance and possible funkiness of jets.

We're shower people. And these things use a lot of water (we take efficient showers), so we don't use them. Happy to go to a hot tub instead. want to get in/out of the shower and get on with things.

Cheers.

I see. Well. I'm the one who likes them. But I didn't know they had jets. We always use them just as a tub, maybe that's how I didn't notice. Now curious about which units have which type of tub, I went through my pictures to find:

- Elara 2 BR Grand 2021 had jets
- Elara 2 BR Grand Plus 2023 didn't
- Elara 2 BR (corner) 2023 did
- Flamingo 2 BR 2023 didn't
- MarBrisa 3FX 2022 did
- Grand Waikikian 1 BR Premier 2022 didn't
- Paradise 2 BR 2021 didn't
- Boulevard 3 BR Plus 2021 did
- Trump 1 BR Plus 2023 did

There you go!

We're shower people.
We're too when the main purpose is personal hygiene. But there's also a "chill out with a drink" purpose - and that one beats the shower every time.

I see. Well. I'm the one who likes them.
We're another couple who loves them. Showers are great if you have to get going in the morning but nothing beats a nice soaking tub when you're on vacation.

That's just not the way we chill, but others do. That's the beauty of choices.

Cheers.
