Whatever the explanation might be, I find it very hard to believe that the (relatively recent) case filed against Sumday by Diamond Resorts has already been resolved and concluded. Accordingly, I am inclined to regard the above-referenced "Facebook story" as being uninformed bull$H*t at worst, or just completely unsubstantiated rumor at best. It was just two weeks ago (March 06, 2020 to be precise) that Diamond Resorts issued a press release announcing / proclaiming that their case against SumDay was going to proceed, after a SumDay "motion to dismiss" was denied by a Federal judge. It is highly unlikely (...to say the least) that everything has now been magically concluded, a mere 14 days later. Civil cases in the Federal Court system simply do not move anywhere near that quickly.
Attorney(s) representing SumDay
might, for all anyone knows (which is actually
nothing), have instructed their client to "immediately stop doing whatever it is you've been doing that has motivated this lawsuit in the first place, until we can litigate this matter".
Just sayin'...
