Last month they had the wrong check-in dates showing on my confirmed exchanges. It took a week for their IT people to fix that problem. Today I have no confirmed exchanges showing! Thank goodness I have all my printed confirmations. Oh yeah, I like to use Firefox as my browser and it takes forever for my account to load at all. So I had to revert to IE just for RCI biz...but what a hassle!

For all I know, RCI is doing it on purpose to get back at all of us for that class action lawsuit. Punish the dues-paying members by creating a torturous online exchange system; how diabolical of them. :annoyed: :crash:

I think you're giving them way too much credit. It's more likely their inept IT people are screwing things up without realizing it.

As for Firefox not loading things correctly: There was a time when HTML code for IE browsers was easier to write than code for Netscape and other non-standard browsers. IE was a lot more forgiving. Pages had to have certain codes embedded for Netscape to resolve correctly, or the page would be blank. I worked as a web page coder at the time, and we always had to test our pages in various browsers and at assorted screen resolution sizes to make sure they displayed properly. In this case, Firefox may just be more demanding, and RCI's page coders may not consider those extra requirements.

I use firefox 2.0 and used the rci weeks website this morning with no delays in processing. All my confirmed weeks show accurately. I am beginning to like the new website as it gives wider search parameters.

With all these website improvements.. why can't we use the existing balance in the account to book a week or run a search.. its ridiculous.

Personally, I think the changes to the RCI website are a vast improvement over the old search engine.:whoopie:

It provides far more searching ability/parameters.

Far better conceptually....

I agree. The new improvements are heads and tails above the old. You can easily search a much wider timeframe and geographic location.

On the other hand, it could use a little boost in processing time...but it is processing a lot more data to return for every query. I do get frustrated by the longer processing time but I still think I get a lot more information out of each session.

I have faith that they will continue to work through the delays.

Well I like the new search when it works, but for the most part is just to slow for me....I use Firefox and do not and will not use IE.

My confirmed dates have been changed, they finally straightened that out. Now I have no bonus weeks, they disappeared and also no one plus ones ( they were useless anyway and another poster said they were dicontinued, but the bonus weeks are they gone too?)
