I like the song, but was never able to find a stereo version of it. They probably only recorded it in mono. Here's another popular song they did. They recorded this one in stereo.

I have always loved this combined guitar/instrumental piece by Mason Williams. It hit the top of the charts just as I was graduating from high school in the spring of 1968.

I was reminded of it the other day when I came across this virtuoso classical guitar performance cover of it by Tommy Emmanuel.

A hauntiingly beautiful version of The Beatles' Blackbird in the indigenous language of the Mi'kmaq of Canada's Maritime Provinces. Even the original composer, Paul McCartney, was apparently impressed, commenting on it at a Vancouver concert.
