We are talking about CWA not Presidential reserve, Thats a whole 'nother animal
My example was not about Presidential Reserve. Just regular Presidential units.
Here is another example.
At my home resort there is only one 4 BR Presidential unit (it is not a Presidential reserve unit). This unit is very popular all year and especially during ski season.
My home resort is part of CWA. I have not had any difficulty reserving this unit for New Years in years past. Does this mean the unit is available only to resort deeded owners like me, and CWA owners are left out? Or are CWA owners able to reserve this unit also, and it just depends on who gets there first, which would mean that for this particular unit there is no such thing as CWA inventory and UDI inventory -- it is just whichever owner gets there first.
And when four November Branson weeks get turned in to Ovation, converted into CWA points, and these points are sold as a bundle to a skier in Colorado, I may be facing some competition for that New Years ski week that I did not face before. The old Branson owners could not compete with me at 13 months for the Presidential unit, because they did not have ARP at my home resort, but the new CWA owner can now compete with me and the other UDI owners at 13 months for the most desirable units and weeks.
