ROFR Exercised/Passed

Elara bHC falls under the ‘new’ bHC rules and doesn’t get the special cross-property booking windows like DC/NY.

Elara bHC does give owners a $20/person/day on-property credit, good at Starbucks, lobby bar, and pool.
And for non bHC owners, Elara bHC has the same booking window as Elara so, you can just as easily book it like HGVC properties.

It’s not really ‘new’ rules. W57 preceded The Residences, The District, and The Central but was not included in the reciprocal booking window because it was more fully sold and not needed. Elara bHC, like the other bHC resorts outside of NYC and DC, doesn’t have the 1 day minimum booking or open season limitation either, I believe. It’s more that the non-NYC/DC bHC resorts have the normal HGVC booking rules than having ‘new’ bHC rules.

I do find myself wondering why they are considered bHC resorts. They don’t all seem to have lounges or the OS restrictions. They all get the higher HH point conversion ratios, though.

So they can charge more for through the Hilton Hotels system.
