I've now stayed in all three of the unit sizes (Studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom). This is the final Westin Princeville review of the one bedroom. Clearly, I like the Westin Princeville. I am working on a post to highlight the difference of the three unit sizes, but wanted to post the one bedroom first.

About an hour drive from the Lihue Airport in Princeville Hawaii on the Island of Kauai sits the Westin Princeville (part of Vistana and Marriott Vacation Club). Today's review is of the one bedroom unit. The building are three stories tall and have lush tropical plants throughout. There are three+ pools, a fitness center, and plenty of grills on the property.

The room has one private bedroom with a separate bathroom... The bathroom has a walk in shower and a Jacuzzi tub.. Kitchen has everything you need. The living room was ample with a pullout sofa bed. Staff was great!!! I enjoyed the larger balcony as compared to the Studio balcony as there was more room to stretch out.

I have been to Westin Princeville and it is very nice. This was many years ago. When we were there we had a partial ocean view on the right side of the property. I recall there were a couple buildings facing the gold course where you can see the ocean and I think there are some buildings directly on the ocean.

What would be the buildings and room numbers with ocean views?

I was in Building five... If you get the odd numbers on floor 2 and 3 you look across the golf course to the ocean.... Building 6 would be the even numbers and Building 3 would be the odd numbers (assuming odd numbers face east and even numbers face west in all units... I was in Building 5).

Just confused. So odd numbers look over the golf course to the ocean. But you said Building 6 even numbers look at ocean. Is Building 6 also looking over the golf course to the ocean or is that building located elsewhere?

Building 6 see the ocean from the opposite side and build three faces the opposite way... I am still in Princeville, so I am going to get a map of the buildings and upload it.... There may be a building 7 blocking building six on the "odd side"....

ok.... Here is the MAP... Room numbers are odd to the left, and even to the right except Building 4 which every room faces the golf course and ocean.... Ocean view from Building 3,5,6 is odd room numbers.... Ocean view from Building 7 is even numbers.... Building 4 all face the ocean.... Buildings 1-2 in my opinion have tree or pool views mostly (since you can't pick the room number. The sunsets are better in the summer as in winter the sun sets behind the mountain (tip from Bill at the registration desk.
