Reserving half of your unit at a time? WKORV or WKORN?

Please excuse me if this is posted elsewhere — I’ve looked around and haven’t found it. I’m interested in learning how best to reserve half of a 2BR lockoff at a time for a 2 week stay in WKORV or WKORN — assuming Home resort, 12-months in advance. Also assume you have OF view and want to keep the same view. Is one resort better than the other for accomplishing this? We haven’t purchased yet and this will help us decide.

WKORV, WKV, 2-SDO, 4-Kauai Beach Villas, Island Park Village (Yellowstone), Hyatt High Sierra, Dolphin's Cove (Anaheim)
The South phase has superior Ocean Front Views because of the layout of the buildings.

When you make a reservation you can reserve the studio, the one bedroom, or the 2 bedroom, at 12 months before check-in, at 12:00 midnight eastern, the night BEFORE the phone lines open.

In other words, yesterday (Mar. 2) at midnight, you could reserve Mar. 3, 2019. It's midnight eastern, adjusted for you time zone, of course.
