I'll have saved $16k on total purchase. I do like HGVC and found the resale market is the way to go.Congrats on rescinding in time. (keep your proof of mailing timestamp).
Can you let us know how much you saved?
If you like HGVC come back and research resale on TUG and you will pay a fraction of what you potentially purchased.
Lastly, suggest that you sign up for TUG for $15 to pay it forward for saving you thousands. (I do not benefit from this membership.)
Welcome and congratulations. I would suggest that you take your time as your research HGVC resales. There is not a reason to rush. Feel free to ask questions because we have a great group of TUG members willing to share their knowledge.I'll have saved $16k on total purchase. Congrats! With the exception of a very few incidents, HGVC has been very good at honoring the recessions of those in the recession window. If you are still interested in the system, stick around and research. You can learn a lot from the members here. I know I did.Update for everyone, Hilton responded to my letter with an email acknowledging it. And they said they will refund the deposit within 20 days.
Any suggestions on resale for 1 week odd years at HGV PoiPu Kauai. Need to get out of ownership due to health and age.I'll have saved $16k on total purchase. I do like HGVC and found the resale market is the way to go.
HVC PoiPu is a HVC resort, not HGVC. Do you have a loan? If you do then you can not sell until you have paid it off. I don't know if there is any resale value for that resort. You will need to ask in the HVC forum (which you have already done)Any suggestions on resale for 1 week odd years at HGV PoiPu Kauai. Need to get out of ownership due to health and age.
