If you rent a Vidanta week on Redweek does anyone know if it would count toward your once every 3 year restriction you get on exchanges?
The 1 in 3 restriction(s) are by exchange company.

RCI exchanges into Vidanta have [ often ] had some specified restrictions.
At times it has been 1 in xx ; but at other times they have limited the number of high season exchanges.

I mean is Vidanta going to say "Hey we show you stayed here in 2024 (via Redweek) so you you can't exchange here via II until 2027"?
Vidanta technically could do this - since their reservation system has the data ; but It is unlikely they would implement that kind of system.

1) RCI - Intervals -etc. : have contracts with Vidanta and each wants to maximize the exchange fee revenue from their members.

2) IMO- Vidanta's goal is not to block you completely ; their goal is to have a flow of fresh exchangers for their Vida Sales Team .
The 1 in 3 rules can also be used to help convince exchangers to buy.
IMO [ The average exchanger probably owns 1 timeshare and uses 1 exchange company]

3) Currently there are Vidanta brands/ locations on RCI that have exceptions listed to the 1 in 3 rule.
[ I have RCI weeks and regularly check for changes]
