RCI website for weeks won't allow me to set up any additional searches

I can search Hilton Vacation Club and get a similar layout of every resort in the system. I like it a lot. That's a Wyndham thing, but Wyndham owns RCI, so that's maybe a clue. I wish the exchange fees were lower, but they are generally not lower. Bummer. I just paid a pittance to extend our points another full year to May of 2027. I hope I can extend again after 2027. It's going to be difficult to use the points we have built up, and we will likely lose most of them.

If you would not be allowed to extend the points and can't use it, rather than let it expire, maybe consider gifting it to a member here. I know at least two here that can use some points. Just a thought 🧐

The cost to RCI is in the number of points it now requires to get the Hiltons, plus exchange fee, plus Hilton "because they are allowed to charge it" fees.

Here is an example. My points are 1.1 cents each:

This is the highest I have seen for cost in RCI Points.

Total cost of $2,570 to RCI with my cost on points + $280 mandatory fee _ the TAT. of $42.85 per day.

Ironically, using Wyndham points it's 205,000 at $7/1,000 or $1,400 + the fees to Hilton and TAT. Really expensive vacation.

I don't want to go to Hilton in Waikiki, it's not my favorite area, but the cost is prohibitive. It would burn a large # of points and I can be onboard with that.
