I applied and it looked like it worked but no email after I signed to. Just a message on rne website saying it was successful but no email . Is the normal?

It takes a few days. The enrollment receipt says setup will take 3 to 4 days to be completed. You will get the email after completion.

Once you receive a membership number, if the registration process doesn’t work and you get an EVS1 error, try emailing feedback@rci.com to ask for help. I am now registered.
Thanks for posting a quick way to get help with this problem. RCI fixed it within a few hours of receiving my email.

No to requiring a deposit and I did not see an expiration date in the fine print. That doesn't mean it won't expire, suppose that is up to RCI.

Worked for me. Got my email (in spam) and set up the account. I dropped RCI 2 years ago. So, nice to have 2 years for free for extra vaca and last calls. Thanks!

I just chose any WM resort since it isn't week specific.

I also provided my previous RCI Account Number with the promo. My previous WM RCI account expired January 2023.
I just received my WM contract, did this promo wind up working and did your WM points work correctly (since you just picked any WM resort).

Sorry for the delay. Yes, it finally worked out.
RCI never notified WorldMark so I had to open a ticket with WM to get the account setup and linked.

Thanks for digging up this older thread, I applied also and got the confirmation today.

I just picked up a unit that qualified and I could have added RCI for $79 but I passed. This will save me $158 over the 2 years.

I let my old RCI account lapse a couple of years ago, plus I have access through the HGVC portal.

My membership was good until 2028 and they extended it for 2 years. Thanks for sharing the great deal!

I also had to open a ticket with WM to get my free RCI account linked. I'm still waiting. How long did WM take to complete this step for your account?

In my case, RCI confirmed my free RCI WEEKS membership but I couldn't access RCI through WorldMark's webportal.
I kept getting an error message ("Oops - something went wrong!"). In summary, I ran into two issues.
  • First Issue - Owner Care stated that WM never received notification from RCI that a membership was activated. So no action was taken by WM to setup the account on their side.
  • Second Issue - The RCI rep saw two WM accounts for me. Since I referenced my last RCI account number when I applied for the free member offer, WM needed to link their previous WM RCI account number (that was originally created for me in 2010) instead of creating a brand new one.
Make sure you're actively working with someone from WorldMark Owner Care to get your ticket resolved.
WM Owner Care (Nerissa B) was able to follow up with the WM IT department to resolve my issue in days but that was only after I had already waited over 3 months for the resolution of my first ticket (which didn't address my outstanding RCI issue).

I'm surprised and delighted that the link I posted back in the summer is still working! I've used RCI for an Extra Vacation and they offered a deal at that time that made trying Platinum for a year almost free ( the 10% off for Platinum members offset the cost).

I have not made a deposit yet so no experience with the exchange/TPU side of things in RCI weeks.

I took advantage of this back in September and got an additional 2 years with RCI. In December, (within the 90 days), I deposited a week. Earlier this week I made an exchange, (within the 5 months), but was charged the $299. Since I didn't want to lose the exchange, I went through with it. I had done an online chat complaining and asking for my credit. Long story short, I had to email feedback@rci, attach the offer, (thanks gravityrules), and they have offered me a $100. credit good until 12/31/2025 towards an exchange. I don't think I can make another exchange before then, so I have countered asking if it could be good for another year...............haven't gotten a reply so far.................stay tuned.

All in all ................ good deal!!!
